And because of my appearance, behavior, and/or milieu I’ve also been judged a preppy, a hippie, a biker, a punk, new wave (how dreadful!) and, occasionally, the man, i.e. the establishment. Alternative is a hard row to hoe. A lot of name calling going on, but there are no means by which this can be avoided.”
